Firm Employees Donate Men's and Women's Business Clothing for Military Veterans
New Haven, April 29, 2015 (Newswire.com) - Employees at the New Haven, Connecticut law firm of Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, P.C. are cleaning their closets; gathering suits, dresses, pants, shirts, shoes, ties and other business clothing. The men’s and women’s business attire will be donated to Save-A-Suit for distribution to U.S. military veterans. The firm’s monthly “Jeans Day” collection will also be donated to Save-A-Suit to help pay shipping costs to send suits to veterans on their lengthy waiting list. Save-A-Suit, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, provides military veterans and college graduates professional business attire at no cost to help them prepare for job interviews.
Ms. Kami Parisella, a paralegal with Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, reached out to Save-A-Suit to establish a relationship with the organization and is coordinating the firm’s collections and donation. Ms. Parisella is very supportive of this particular undertaking noting that she and many other employees have family members who have served in the military. In fact, at Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, of 46 employees, 75% have an immediate family member or relative who has served our country in the military.
